      Must Have Summer Trends

      Must Have Summer Trends

Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer and with the change of seasons we're predicting these trends to be BIG all summer long.

      Knit Tanks

The coziness of your favorite sweater but made for summer temps! Knit tanks are going to be everywhere. Pair them with a patterned skirt or wide leg pants (both of which are hot in their own right) or with any pair of shorts you want!

      Patterned Skirts

Patterned skirts are an easy breezy way to stroll into summer. We have several styles to choose from so you can find the pattern that is right for you! We love this blue skirt because it'll go with a white, black, blue, pink, red or grey top! Wear it all summer long with these subtle variations.

      Wide Leg Pants

It's back! If you jumped on the wide leg pant trend last year you'll be glad you did! Back this summer is the wide leg silhouette. We're seeing it in patterned pants, denim and jumpsuits.

      Pops of Color

We had a hard time picking just one item to show for this trend! There is SO much color on our racks right now. We have saturated solids and playful patterns galore. For summer, go bold and pair bright with bright or pair a bright piece with any neutral - the contrast will be the pop of color you've been missing all winter.

      Bold Bags

Nothing says Summer Breeze like a bright bag. Pop in your phone, keys and lip gloss you'll feel light as air as you bounce around on your summer social schedule. These Bogg Bags just arrived and they're perfect for the brunch to beach to backyard days we're waiting for.

Which summer trends are you most excited for?

ABLE Rachel Wristlet, Brown Leather Wristlet with Knotted Strap Detail

What's not to love about ABLE bags. They're beautiful and each purchase supports ABLE; a company working to break the poverty cycle. Simply put, ABLE empowers women. 9 Ways To Style | Wide Leg Matching Set

9 Ways To Style | Wide Leg Matching Set

When this matching set hit our racks we fell immediately in love. First of all the fabrics are incredibly soft. The fit is roomy (like you can easily size down one if not two). Pair the two matching pieces together for an easy look. We asked our stylists to take the matching set to the next level!

Annie | Annie Frances Style Consulting

Annie first adds the Leopard Bomber to the matching set for a punch of personality. Wear pointed toe shoes and dangly earrings to up the style factor of the look.

Next wear the top with a pair of straight leg jeans and sneakers or with a pair of faux leather pants and booties for comfortable brunch-to-market and day-to-night looks.

      Hanna | Hanna Lee Style

Hanna had the chance to model her styles! It was so fun to have her in store. She first paired the pants with our navy satin cami and coral denim jacket. A long necklace ties the look together.

Her second look is the set worn together topped with a denim jacket and bright pink scarf! The scarf adds color and warmth because the spring temperature swings are not to be messed with!

The third look is the pants with a graphic tee (we recommend our Empowered Women, Empower Women tee) and our removable hoodie denim jacket

      Katie | KS Style Consulting

Katie has spring break on the mind! Her recommendations are for making the most out of fewer packed pieces for your next trip.

Pair the top with your favorite comfy joggers and a white pair of leather sneakers for a cute and comfy airplane look.

Take the pants from casual to semi dressy by pairing it with a bodysuit and a strappy sandal with a heel. Compete the look with an evening clutch!

For an easy daytime look, pair the top with a pair of kick flare jeans or olive green shorts (or these cognac ones) and a nude sandal. Finish the outfit with a stack of bracelets and a fun necklace.

Going to the beach or to the pool? Throw these cozy pants on as your “to and from look” like you would a coverup with a pair of easy flip flops.

9 Ways To Style | Spring Trends

9 Ways To Style | Spring Trends

We've had a taste of spring temperatures and with the sun setting later and later we're ready to update our wardrobe! New Arrivals are, well, arriving, every week as the spring orders come in and it is so fun having the store brighten up.

This spring we're seeing bold colors, not only jewel tones but neons and saturated pink/purples! The Galiena Maxi is one of our favorites. Pair it with a pop of neon mini tote and white sneakers and you've got a perfect spring look!

We also asked our stylists for their spring trends advice and here's what they had to say.

Annie | Annie Frances Style Consulting

My top tip for transitioning to spring is to pair a cozy sweater and spring skirt with booties/boots. Try anything monochromatic… add a pop with a headband or earring.

Go for a little lighter color to brighten your day. This time of year can feel dark still, so this is a mood enhancer too! If you’re wanting to follow the Pantone color of this year… try something periwinkle hued! It’s typically a color beautiful on all skin types.

      Hanna | Hanna Lee Style

Transition to Spring with... you guessed it... COLOR!

We're seeing a ton of pastels pop up this spring, wide legs and, surprise surprise, florals. These "trends" aren't really anything new and you likely have all these in your wardrobes in years past.

Since, for example, florals seem to come back every spring but in slightly different forms I advice my clients to keep a list of the new styles that catch their eye so they can check it against what pieces they have in their wardrobes. The worst feeling is bringing something new home that is basically the same as something you have hanging in your closet!

      Katie | KS Style Consulting

A spring trend I am most excited about this year are the bold and saturated colors! I am someone who loves color in my wardrobe so I’m excited to see fun tones on anything from a blouse to a handbag. (Or both!)

When we are in between seasons transitioning from winter to spring, I think a plaid or flannel shirt is a great way to go! Wear it open with a tank under or fully buttoned with your favorite pair of lighter jeans and a leather sneaker.

Which style tip are you going most excited for this spring? Or are you just excited for spring itself? We feel that!

9 Ways to Style | How to be Cute When it is Cold

9 Ways to Style | How to be Cute When it is Cold

There's no way around it. It is cold out. We asked our stylists, Annie, Hanna and Katie for their advice. We might have to wear our puffy coats but we can definitely up the style factor with their tips!

Annie | Annie Frances Style Consulting

It's totally an 80s/90s throwback but I love a turtleneck layered under another shirt or sweater. Plus a turtleneck feels a little bit dressier (like a built in necklace so you can easily add an earring and then throw your hair up in a clip and call it a day!

If your ankles are getting cold under your wide leg pants or pants with a side slit wear a pair of riding boots to help keep your calves warm. Or a pair of tights underneath!

      Hanna | Hanna Lee Style

Hanna put together a whole blog post with examples and ideas for winter outfits. Think layers, sweaters over dresses and she has a whole ebook with comfy, non-legging, outfit ideas!

      Katie | KS Style Consulting

A great way to stay cute and cozy is with layering! Pile on those cute accessories and have fun with it. We all have those not so stylish but warm puffer coats, make them a little more chic with a pair of faux fur gloves, a chunky knit scarf in a bold hue, knit beanie with the puff ball on top in a fun pattern, and a functional but fashionable pair of waterproof booties!

My favorite way to add a little bit of life into my winter outfits is by wearing coats or jackets as part of the outfit. Pair a thin crew neck sweater with a long wrap coat or duster, skinny or straight leg jeans, and a heel or bootie for a warm and semi casual dinner or date night option!
