It's totally an 80s/90s throwback but I love a turtleneck layered under another shirt or sweater. Plus a turtleneck feels a little bit dressier (like a built in necklace so you can easily add an earring and then throw your hair up in a clip and call it a day!
If your ankles are getting cold under your wide leg pants or pants with a side slit wear a pair of riding boots to help keep your calves warm. Or a pair of tights underneath!

Hanna put together a whole blog post with examples and ideas for winter outfits. Think layers, sweaters over dresses and she has a whole ebook with comfy, non-legging, outfit ideas!

A great way to stay cute and cozy is with layering! Pile on those cute accessories and have fun with it. We all have those not so stylish but warm puffer coats, make them a little more chic with a pair of faux fur gloves, a chunky knit scarf in a bold hue, knit beanie with the puff ball on top in a fun pattern, and a functional but fashionable pair of waterproof booties!
My favorite way to add a little bit of life into my winter outfits is by wearing coats or jackets as part of the outfit. Pair a thin crew neck sweater with a long wrap coat or duster, skinny or straight leg jeans, and a heel or bootie for a warm and semi casual dinner or date night option!
